North Boone Junior Tackle Football was developed twelve years ago to provide kids in Northern Boone County with a fun environment to learn the fundamentals of tackle football. The program is intended to improve existing physical skills while creating an enjoyable family experience that benefits our players, parents, and community
NBJT is proud to enter its second year with the Northern Illinois Football Conference (NIFC). The member teams(our competition) of the NIFC are SYFL Spartans, GK Broncos, RRL Lions, Belvidere Blue Thunder, Dakota Indians, Win Du Pec Hornets, Rockford Lutheran Crusaders, Carlson Huskies, and Ken-Rock Bengals
History of the NIFC:
The NIFC was created in 2006 in efforts to bring a more positive experience to the youth in our communities. While football is a competitive sport, we believe that life lessons can be taught and learned through playing the game of football.
The NIFC currently has grown to a total of nine organizations that participate. We believe it is important to grow slowly so that all athletes are provided a positive experience. We encourage organizations wishing to make a change to contact us as we are always looking for those who fit our philosophy.
The NIFC continues to provide a fun, safe, and competitive environment. Our philosophy is simple...."It's about the kids!"
